Our nearest comparison is Regulus.. $100 million. We are at 65 mill but we still need to pay approx 30 mill in staged payments. So we are close to those guys. And those guys just beat out SOLG in the Spotlight series king of the mining ring final.

I might draw up a comparison between the two projects. There are some differences and both have different independent advantages.

I still need to check properly the met work at HCH. REG has some advantages in strategic position in terms of takeover..

But HCH is near the coast... This is not talked about much here and I would have like to hear CE expound this advantage.. Nick Mather at SOLG put the Capex advantage for SOLG at 2 billion because it is also relatively near the coast, i.e access to water, power transport. Building a mine at 3-4000m high in the Andes sounds like a nightmare.. Dry, hard to get to, taxing on your workers etc etc etc.. Unless the resource really stacks up its not going to happen.. Huge tick for HCH here and a major reason why the big boys will be keen..

SOLG is sitting at 500 mill cap for 85% of Alpala. Also they hold major concessions through Equador, they have BHP and Newcrest on board and this will be developed.. By mid October, for those unaware, BHP comes out of a two year moratorium on making a takeover bid.. And I don't think they'll mess around

Imo SOLG should be sitting at a billion mkt cap right now.. HCH REG maybe 225-300 mill..

Our time will come though..

Great post. Thanks mate. I'm in as of today. Pure speculation on my part that the upcoming reserve announcement will be big.

Gold is obviously in an uptrend, and very topical at the moment. Maybe HCH could become a gold miner with copper credits rather than the other way around.

Best of luck to holders and the company. Been a long hard slog for CE and long term holders, hopefully some value is about to be realized.
