Most commodity prices are largely driven/controlled by futures paper contracts. However there will inevitably come a day when there will be permanent backwardation in the tech metal commodities markets where the futures price will be much lower than the actual spot price due to overwhelming industrial demand to electrify the planet in the name of a cleaner and greener future as directed/regulated/legislated by the governments of the day.
