The appointment of 2 Tasman Directors to the board of Bligh is fairly standard practice, given the size of their initial investment. I haven't looked back through the announcements to see when Bill Richie Yang is first mentioned.
I don't hold any BGH shares but have been keeping an eye on the stock for the past few months, just for my own interest.
