Bill is so unpopular and he is fighting to even get noticed . So , he picks a controversial topic ( that the govt is already looking at ) in the hope that he gets invited into the conversation .

A bit pathetic I reckon .

I wonder if he is going to remove negative gearing on other forms of investments i.e. margin loans ?

I really don't care what his purpose is..if it does what is needed, it doesn't really matter to me. What's pathetic is the libs backflip if they put it through. Or are raising it as a political stunt as well..
