Paul Kelly on Sky a few minutes ago made an interesting point.
He said that Shorten has now locked himself into a position where he believes there is nothing wrong (AAA credit rating etc) whereas many commentators say that there are structural problems (not necessarily a Budget crisis) with the budget and the taxation system that must be dealt with. He also believes that the "man on the street" understands this position even if they don't agree with what has been handed down in the Budget.
Kelly feels that Shorten now has a problem with this going to the next election, whenever it is.
BS is lucky, the union RC will see him being replaced before any election
