The ATO is going online and i ts now impossible to lodge a tax return in person, in Adelaide, its all part of this transition. 3 inefficient The public service is sick of emails, it just slows things down. It takes up to 1 hour to deal with issues via email and 3 min at a counter. 4 security breach Online services are a security risk to personal details. 5 government collapse Online services are a soverighn risk to national security. The one stop shop approach and online processing would allow one person to totally destroy a country at the touch of a button. It could stop all industries linked to the system.''
