In retrospect, in light of the general cloud of unpopularity that constantly followed Bill Shorten around and the warm fuzzies most of the electorate felt for Albo at the time, I'm pretty sure Anthony Albanese would have won the '19 election, even carrying franking credits (though I'm not sure they'd have been policy if Albo was at the helm). That was an almost unlosable election, but Bill found a way.
