Maybe the gold price exploding upwards throuh this major barrier will do it but we must expect that on the Comex tonight the FED will attack gold as it does every not via the Bullion Banks which work for the Exchange Equilisation Fund (A fully owned subsidiary of the FED which intervenes in currency and gold markets).

But the battle will be lost soon enough.

Once it closes above $US1,000, $US1,140 is the next resistence point according to some charting guru on Reuters today.
