I agree surprising as it may seem to some. The reasons are far more complex than we explore and some of it has to do with social structures and expectations. Humans are deeply flawed and what we are not particularly good at in general is navigating conflict.
it would be far more useful to understand how this impacts relationships. But I find it interesting and challenging to read hotcopper threads on this matter. I find it interesting to see the differences in the posting styles of men and women and the different judgments and behaviour. I’m not sure how noticeable it is to others.
