Shorten to press for higher wages 'on the first day' if he wins power

Yes folks, increase wages , reduce businesses ability to function and bingo, Shortens first worst economic decision only to be followed my many more. Looks like buying votes is going to cost the economy billions and that sounds like a Labor policy if I've ever seen one.
You need PRODUCTIVITY GAINS with that Bill, you know, its the economy stupid.
WHY? Because it has to come with productivity gains. Its economics 101. The guy is willing to create a higher unemployment rate just to get the job. His voters think its a free ride and that is bloody funny if not sad. He is doing his own voters in (as he did at clenevent and that guy who dare ask a question) He is also doing it because he knows his uncosted rabble of spending policies will increase the cost of power and the cost of most goods since business will have to pass on the costs , manufacture over seas or fire people. He is an economic dunce you can see from the moon. Lets send jobs offshore Bill. God help us.

Opposition Leader Bill Shorten has intensified pressure on the workplace umpire to lift wages for up to 2.3 million workers within a matter of weeks, making the decision one of his first priorities if he takes power.

In a new campaign on wages, Mr Shorten intends to scrap the federal government's submission on the minimum wage and lodge a new proposal to boost pay packets as soon as July 1 under a Labor government.
