    Because it was in the act of stopping a try and side on (not a front on shoulder charge where the shoulder is dropped)I believe there is nothing wrong with it.

    He only connected with Simmon's shoulder(side on) and no damage done imo

    A strip is allowed to prevent a try so I believe in relation to the sideline and the corner post a player should be allowed to bundle a player over the sideline using his shoulder if necessary and it would most likely always be side on anyway.imo

    I'm no referee and dont know the rules exactly.

    Good effort by Slater and it certainly prevented the try.A conventional tackle may not have.imo
