I agree and getting the calibre of someone like that is pretty unheard of down here. The message validing the science would be huge. I can't shed much light here other than to say that my understanding is that there are people in the mix that are '2 or 3 notches above' whatever that means but it probably would apply to this guy. I'm not sure PYC could ever afford guys like this though - the amount of whinging that goes on down here by the likes of HC members and cbrenbush about what CEOs get paid will make PYC target number 1 on this front if they employed someone like this. To get someone like that I bet we have to be willing to pay USD1m+ and add a solid dose of equity.

Personally I think it would be worth it but Aussies tend to like tearing down tall poppies - Aussie Post was a tough gig dealing with once in a century disruption and AF pulled it off and got walked because of politics and voters. The tax on his package alone was paying for 12 people on unemplyment benefits, 15 pensioners, 4 defense personel 11 kids schooling etc etc but media just focus on the man.

If anyone like Robert come down then sit up and take notice - it is on the strategy they spelt out a year ago and it means we are moving beyond discovery and into development.
