Special Forces would be involved in more high risk missions than their Regular Army cohorts.
Consequently, they would be shot down more often IMO.
Regarding the alleged suicide of the Team 6 member, well we all have our bad days don't we?
He may have gained unwanted notoriety, and it may have pushed him over the edge, in combination with the pressure of Special Forces combat missions.
If it's legit, condolences to his family.
