"the last thing Tincom want is the anti-brown coal movement on its back, the quieter the better in some regards, especially in the lead up to the Victorian state election" from mbro.
explains it all.
Apart from the usual manipulation or classic tree shaking.
Time for a break until after 27th November/ Brumby re elected and release of Climate Change Implementation PLAN .
HRL result will most likely occur after election also, will be an interesting precedence.
Ridgewood NO MENTION OF IP, HOPEFULLY YOU DID SOME RESEARCH if not some useful links.
Looking at the history of filing dates by Maddlingley Technology ,patent
number 561586, 2/08/1984,
patent no 636847, filing date 18/07/1989, Relating to coal drying and other
aspects. University of Melbourne 1/10/1986.
ALL well before Jotts Australia filing date of 25/06/2002.
Jott cannot claim they had original idea of coal drying , The Innovation
patent will succeed.
Has Jott taken idea of coal dryer from International Patent No WO97/25295

As for the US patent no 5,233,766 which has expired on the 4/10/05.
From the introduction of the desciption for the Innovation Patent from ECT
lawyers, have proven that Jott DOES NOT own IP rights to louvres , venetian
blinds/and concept of dryer.
NO MOVING PARTS ,versus outdated ,non industrial application from JOTT.
