Unfortunately, there are "insider trading laws" but they are VERY rarely investigated.
The ASX may issue a "Please explain" but I can't remember the last time a company was investigated and someone was charged. Maybe Rene Rivkin??
There can be NO DOUBT that with MAP being up 10%, MQG rushing up 5% in a couple of hours, that
1. People knew about this before the market.
2. They probably told some friends/family
3. They bought like crazy
4. They will sell out and make a profit.
