For your interest I am a long term holder and beleive in this company. I even bought PRR shares when they were crashing during the GFC (Global Finacial Crisis) and bought some when they crashed to 0.008 cents.

Basically PRR held a SPP (share purchase plan) some time ago and offered shareholders a special deal when I think the shares were 0.005 cents. To make it attractive to shareholders they "attached" options (in this case PRRO) to the SPP to encourage shareholders to partake in the SPP.
The PRRO options are excercisable at 0.02 cents and expire in Dec 2011. What this means is that you can convert your options to actual PRR shares by buying then from PRR at 0.02 cents a share. This also raises money for PRR. PRR also sort and gained approval to list the options on the ASX as a traded share. This means that people can buy and sell these options on the ASX, just like normal shares. However, these options are wothless after Dec 2011 if they are not "cashed in". Many people trade purely in options as they can be big profit makers as well as very big loses. If you check the price of PRRO they should be trading at 2 cents below the current PRR share price. This announcement is informing the market that someone has decided to cash in their options. If they have not traded them then for a cost of say 100,000 (options) x 2 cents = $2000.00 they now hold 100,00 PRR shares now valued at 40 cents.....a very big profit.
