Just so everyone knows how I arrived at the figure....
1 sq kilometre = 1,000,000 sq meters x 50m depth = 50,000,000 cubic metres
1 cubic metre =1000 litres
so 50,000,000,000 litres divide by 42(US gal in barrel) and divide by 4 (litres in US gal) = approx 290mill barrels less 25% approx to get recovery rate of 75% = approx 200mill barrels of oil.
I can't see any problems with the calc's but if anyone has better idea on reservior calc's I would like to be corrected if I am too far wrong......
