Yes, I used to get excited about these events, expecting things to change for us, somehow.
If things changed, it wasn't apparent to me.

But there has to be a tipping point. A time in the process where it finally starts coming together. We are further advanced, now, with news from FDA and TGA imminent. We have people on board who are skilled in business and financial dealings, not just science, to advise and guide. I reckon 'we' are more highly motivated than ever to strike a deal to fund us through that final stretch. There will be people there wanting to do deals. I live in hope. Otherwise, I would sell up and move on.
