Your assertion that we would still be living in caves if we only looked ahead is fatuous . It is from learning from our past mistakes that we can see a better way ahead . I can see no evidence that NAG have learned anything over the years . They just stumble from one scheme to another , one CR to another , without achieving anything . The list of failures is a long one . The successes ? The only one I can think of is the defence department paying rent for a part of a hole . I reckon that's a ripper .
