And that is the crux of it. How ti make money here.. Definitely start with picking those companies with good management. Most of the companies I watch closely have US based management or an aspect of US Management.. Not that they are all certain of success. It has just evolved that way.

but my limited experience with US Management gives me a lot more comfort than AU management generally does.
