Bionomics in new US collaboration; sets up subsidiary

Sydney - Monday - September 20: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Bionomics Ltd has established a collaboration with the School of
Medicine at Emory University in Georgia, USA, to study genetic
variations associated with Severe Myoclonic Epilepsy of Infancy.

The company has also formed a wholly-owned US subsidiary and
appointed a US business representative.

Bionomics Inc will hold Bionomics Ltd's intellectual property in
the US and is expected to provide enhanced access to US Government grant
funding.

In the latest US collaboration, Bionomics Inc and Emory
University will jointly own intellectual property arising from the
epilepsy research while Bionomics will have exclusive rights relating to
the commercialisation of that intellectual property.

Shares in Bionomics rose 1.5c to 26.5c on Friday.
