what they are saying is that the drug companies are allready screwing the patients in terms of costs of the mediciene . ie pulmozme costs 15k pa.
so there is little upside for them in terms of ramping up prices's.
what they dont factor in, is their cost of producing the drug . which accounts for less that 20% of the sale price.So its not about increasing market share with CF.its about having a far better product and a very reduced cost of goods sold.That goes stait to their bottom line .
