I get the impression from comments re last lot of patients - they appeared to be a lot better than before the implant - I believe -No 1 -'Blood Flow????....
These people have likely been experiencing impaired blood flow and perfusion as a result of their faulty valve....potentially for years impacting function of many end organs. Post procedure, they are experiencing not only improved valve function but improved haemodynamics as well....blood flow function and perfusion at flow rates and pressure they may not have experienced for years......
A simple analogy ...its like removing the original fuel pump/ carburetor with impaired fuel delivery from an aging car and replacing it with brand new ones...........
