It is perfectly normal that these stocks remain cheap until they don't. I have found that in advising, that you are always holding a portfolio of underperformers but the dollar amount is growing. Don't get me wrong a trading halt then 48m@154 g/t (what happened to me and my clients in 2007) is ideal, but this sector requires hard work and the courage to hold through some pretty nasty corrections.
I have met with management, carried out risk/reward profiles on all companies and see 400%+ upside in all of them. This is how to make a fortune in the stock market, not following the most discussed stocks (only when you are selling) or buying a trading program that everyone else owns.
Stick with it, I am getting closer to a major discovery or cancer breakthrough, and looks as though SVY and PAA are the current favourites.
