You will find this very interesting.
On Monday of this week I received in the mail - a letter from a small Perth Broker. The letter was an offer to sell off - market my holdings in BTA. At a 0.3c premium to the market price of 0.46c.
I wondered how this broker has received my exact holdings, address etc etc. So, I sent this letter off to BTA. They are aware of it but do not know the buyer ( it was a nominee a/c ).
This could be someone accumulating the stock in the doldrums off maket and on the quite.
Did any other BTA shareholders get this offer ? and has anyone info on the buyer ?
finally, should'nt off-market share offers be disclosed to the market ?
and why doesn't the privacy act extend to share registers???
I rate BTA a short term buy up to 0.90c
Announcement driven stock.
