Agree hobi. Those of us who are trading, are all in to make a quick buck often based on supply and demand for a stock being out of synch with real value of underlying share. I think over time, the market will reflect the real underlying value of any company. But time is the key and in the short term, there can be enormous disparity between price and value. In regard to those who have the money to manipulate price through use of bots or whatever, its just part and parcel of playing the stock market. I dont know that any amount of regulation can control it (particularly without risking undermining the effectiveness of market mechanisms).
As for BTA, I think its price is heavily discounted based on its appaling management. But the company has a unique advantage through its ownership of LANI, almost certainly the near to medium term market leader for treatment of influenza, and at some point in time this will be reflected in the share price.
