    Puppet4me,
It does not require a genius to have foresight that 2006 was the best time to settle with GSK by accepting the $100M plus legal costs offer instead of burning $35M and then selling out for $20M without costs and after the Pandemic Stockpile market had fizzled. GSK had the foresight to make the offer. Similarly Roche and Gilead had the common sense to settle and went on to make money for their shareholders.

It doe not require a genius to forsee at the time of Peter Cook’s proposed buyback that the US sub-prime will cause great volatility and uncertainties in the market. If you refer to my post at the time of the buyback I have strongly advocate that common sense dictate that the best thing to do is for the company to conserve capital instead of embarking on the buy back to shore up prices. Obvious fools and simplistic bogans are not expected to have such foresights.

Well done, puppet4me by your own admission QUOTE “most of my other shares are down too”. For someone who is losing big time, I am sure other readers will be impressed with your simplistic view and by implication impressed with Peter Cook’s sterling performance.

I do not follow CDU and I have no comments about CDU except to comment you for the skill in picking and backing losers.

    Cheers
