A bit surprised that the SP is at $1.99 at 11am Nasdaq time (represents almost 30% increase from yesterday) given that this is effectively a re-brand, however, most believe that it has been undervalued and I guess nothing like a facelift to sell a pretty promising message....I guess we'll see where it settles at close of trade and also we'll see how much momentum and sizzle they will push under the new banner.
The great thing here is that Phase 2 results for two of the products are within sight (later this year), so at the current pricepoint, it should attract some attention from investors who are prepared to take a punt. Compared to others in this space that have been pushing vapour, positive Phase 2 results will surely and finally see AVIR jump in multiples.
Long term suffering holders finally have something near-term to look forward to...
...and thankfully Cook & Fox are gone!
