I have no expectations for 2019, because I have been around for a while and know that predicting the future of markets can't be done. I prefer watching youtube videos about nutrition (lowcarbdownunder), geopolitics (Ian Bremmer) and backpacking around Asia (which is what I want to do for the rest of my life when I finish raising a kid in the Gold Coast). When markets improve I will trade more often, but for now am sitting on just two specs.

@Davisite and I will be watching news flow from the Torrens project in January (ARE/AIS). I bought shares before BHP's Oak Dam discovery and believe after studying IOCGs that there is a pretty good chance of something economic but much shallower at Torrens. Copper pricing and fundamentals look great if you believe China won't have a hard landing.

I have held PCK for over two years, speak to the company regularly, and believe it is a future unicorn. The commercialisation is proceeding exactly how it was planned, which is highly unusual in my experience. I have heard from many people in the field who say it works and significantly improves aged care of people with dementia. Uptake so far has been slow because it is novel and technically difficult to build the back-end. The CEO is high quality with experience at Cochlear and Roche marketing novel medical devices. Growth will become evident in 6-12 months. You can buy the shares for about the same price as two years ago.
