I have another take on it tho.
If you went or were planing on going to both the trade shows that week, and were thinking of investing in AHZ before you went, and had done enough research on them to know that they may jump up in price as a result of being there. Wouldn't you jump the gun before the trade shows and beat the others.
As most that would go to them would be there to see the ones that they think mite be a good thing before hand, as there not your normal investors IMO and would already know what they want well before any trade shows. (even with a small part of the position you wanted,if what you heard met what you were after) Start buying pre the shows, jump the gun, then buy more once you heard there case.

IMO the SP will move up pre any shows and just maybe the high volume day last week was just the start of what may happen in the lead up to both shows.
But still there are drug company addict investors (groupies in some tech) that will jump on it on the day, if they meet what they like.
