Welcome to the PYC world DS always exciting when they step the business into new areas of interest that are super exciting and potentially ground breaking but I guess it just comes down to how super exciting that is to others. I completely understand all too well the drag with travelling for conferences & the need to keep appearances up but I guess it just comes down to how much such large scale traveling each year delivers for the company. In the first year of the new business model they went like a powerhouse with 3 big pharma deals reached in 12 months but in the subsequent 4 years it only brought through 2 new deals and the number of conferences each year has remained basically the same with many of them being a return to annual events. Let's hope this year changes recent history - I think moving into breast cancer later this year & trying to find an advanced clinic ready candidate to out license will be the best shot they have had in a while - it takes the whole "too early stage" claw out of the way.
