Where to with Biotech’s?
Metabolics failed fat drug will have a lasting impact on the sector. It was the most advanced Australian self funded drug, and will highlight the vulnerability of risk taking in the sector. The boom in mining is also taking money away from the sector. You watch every time mining shares retract Biotech shares go up. The sector has one fundamental floor; scientist should not be running or overseeing a company. A company must make money. No one company in the sector if you read any reports has making a profit as a goal. Most if not all Biotech’s are poorly run.
