Vaccinations don't stop anyone getting the virus - and that has never been claimed either. Basic premise is that we all will get the virus at some stage and most of us have already had it anyway - the vaccinations are making people handle getting the virus much better and limiting the number of people having to be hospitalised - or, unfortunately, dying from the effects of the virus. Vaccinations are still the best defence against the virus - and most of us will be OK with the vaccinations alone - BIT and other companies are aiming at the segment of the population where vaccinations are not enough.

Interesting headline this morning. People have to be tested to know if they have the virus - and most of us do not get tested.
Random COVID tests to be conducted after survey finds 90 per cent of positive cases don't know they have it

Antivirals cover the gap for those where the vaccinations are not enough for the person to still have symptoms or need more specialised medical care. Crowded place but if BIT is in active talks with potential partners then that is a good place to be.

BIT will need such partners to extend its research - and, of course, get their product commercialised. Not sure how long that could take. BIT could rrlease a positive update next week - or maybe it will never do that. This is the joy of holding spec biotech shares - and we all love doing that
