Hi kbear1, seems to be some confusion about Can03 here. The patients are in remission, so its not a case of curing cancer or reducing its size. As I understand it ovarian cancer in remission has quite a high rate of eventual recurrence and the intent of Cvac is to prevent recurrence or at least to extend the remission period longer than would orherwise occur for patients not receiving Cvac. So the more patients that remain in remission for longer than is normally the case, the greater would be the determined efficacy of Cvac. Down the track they may consider trials before remission but not the case with CAN03 and 04.
