Sadly for investors in this fund, there are no refunds on the performance fees. Once they are booked, they are booked. So irrespective of the exit for 22% under book value, BLA will still receive their performance fees that are due and payable. The issue is, with the greater public scrutiny on the practices, good luck trying to get another fund up and running.
