The time from going into hospital perfectly healthy to death was 9 days on average.

high flow oxygen if not carefully managed will also destroy lung tissue. Put someone in on high flow oxygen long enough and it'll look like they need ventilation. then deeper ventilation, then ventilation with opioids, then they never wake up. It was wholesale murder of vulnerable people in hospitals and care homes.
