re: bird flu / traded $28mill today CSL looking very good indeed, very nice trending chart over two year time period.
I doubt that the recent strength has much to do with bird flue however. Worldwide and mostly U.S. shortage of blood products, which is by far CSL's most important business is the most important reason.
The old Australian, mostly vaccination, business is now about 10% of overall CSL in terms of revenue.
