We had to stop after a while as the numbers became so great they were causing traffic problems walking all over the road, this was due to feeding about 2 thin sausages once a week
We previously had a magpie family living close by and "feed" them every so often (when we feed birds we only feed small amounts certainty do not make them dependent)
They had three little one and about 3 months in we found one very sick magpie on the back steps one night so I brought it in and tried to make it comfortable, unfortunately it was dead the next morning and I can only say that it appears to have come to our door as recognizing us as senior family members to HIS family
Noisy minors will call in a loud screech when there is a cat about, we have a few families living in a tree near our lounge windows and they scream until I go out and chase the (neighbors) cat away
