    Hi dex

My view is that they have developed more of a urban diet like many of our non human visitors and if I feed them a little they then make our home theirs.
I have noticed that they do more gardening if they live with us which keeps the bugs and spiders down
Rarely do we have cobwebs under the patio any more, so no spraying.

When we lived in Qld we had a family of silver eyes nest in the same bush for about 10/14 years, a bush which ruined our view but how could I destroy their home. These were Tasmanian birds that came every year. Graeme Chapman - Birds

We had a poor pathetic little apple tree and a pair of Eastern Rosella would fly past our neighbors bountiful fruit trees to decimate the half dozen apples on our little tree every year.

Our lives are made better by our association with the birds that decide to make our home theirs and also decide that we are not to be frightened of but become part of their family
