Around here you see cattle feeding on pasture and usually accompanied by one of more Egrets. I assume the cattle disturb insects which the egrets then devour.
Occasionally you do see a beast (cow) feeding with no birds beside.
I think I hear those animals humming "Je ne egret rien". That probably should be "Je n'egret rien".
I think Piaf would translate that as ''I have no (r)egrets".
