I would say, that’s a totally different bird.
A few years back, I googled bird watchers in Perth.
I spoke to a bloke ( University lecturer I recall) and he said, after I described it, that it was probably the smallest of The Heron family and they were found in Australia and Africa.
The 6 or 7 I’ve seen haveno colours other than the mottled brown/cream.
The fist one I saw had a small cobbler ( catfish).
