Yeah you may be right Kastin, it is a fair way downdip and possibly below the Birsa OWC. But it does raise the question, if the Birsa is a secondary target why would they place the well where they won't intersect it?

I think it unlikely they would have missed an oil-saturated Birsa if it was there. Even if they were in the transition zone where the oil isn't moveable they should still have had oil shows in cuttings.
