Birthdays weddings and funerals

Many of these "returning Aussies" from India and elsewhere have left during covid to attend family functions. Thats why the queue never ends.

They then return bringing plague with them.

Then back in Victoria their infection spreads and the rest of us can't go to the same functions.

Its nuts. For most of Australia's history if an overseas relative had a wedding, birthday or funeral we sent a card.

Birthdays, weddings or funerals are not "essential travel".
