I'm actually more envious of the religious. all their uncertainties dispatched through their faith in their god(s). no more doubts and assurances that they have nothing to worry about after death.
plainly I side with Kerry Packer.... there's nothing there. complete oblivion. the deepest sleep.... but: perchance to dream - aye theres the rub. for in that sleep of death what dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil.
we who question everything, true scepticism, must wrestle with the unknown.
