IMO - there's a vast difference in seeing real violence - which, yes - can be seen to be aiding extremists -

in having vision which can create terror ------------------ BUT, it's real and if we argue that we shouldn't show it because it promotes terror - then, we shouldn't even report it

which to me - makes no sense

What I would crack down on and crack down hard is the moronic fools who put up social media threads -

BEFORE any evidence at all - like the Bondi stabbing - and some foul cretin comes on and starts a conversation titled

'Stabber is Middle Eastern' or 'Perp is Middle Eastern' etc

foul people - who should IMO, be permanently suspended instantly.

Because - no evidence, it was wrong, it was designed for sensationalism, it spreads discrimination, and it spreads conspiracy and terror

it's doing the work of terrorists for them ----------------- and they weren't even involved

it turns out to be a bloke with a funny head from Toowoomba

no wonder that governments want to control media with idiots like that among us
