I'm not a great chart follower either, but they do have some use.

I try to follow the science and I see some interesting things here, it seems to have taken a long time and I do sympathise with you having held for so long, but in every share I hold I try not to listen to things like " she is going to the moon" or "this will rocket" or BGB, they have no real basis IMHO, but in saying that, if the science pays off they will do juswt that? That is the only thing I am interested in, I have been lucky enough in the past to stick with what some would call dogs only to see them become a phoenix, not necessarily even in the same technology, but they have paid handsomely and then some, patience is the key.
