Daimond drilling is a slow process . Good geology is 25-40 metres a day . It takes a long time to do a 200 metre hiole and 1 day is lost shifting drill rigs.
Theres also the weather.
600 metres could take 3-31/2 weeks and then 3 weeks for assat results. Its very unlikely something definite will be spotted while drilling.
