i believe this is a tale of at least 2 maybe 3 cities though.
The 3 'cities I see are the 'traders', the retail 'holders' and potentially one or more 'interested parties'
'Holders' are pretty straightforward. Buy / Hold. Equally the approach of normal 'traders' is pretty straightforward. As you say long only. They buy ideally prior to an announcement (like now), looking to generate roughly 100% return in reasonably short time period. Some will hang around for 'coming weeks', some (likely those with small parcels, looking to turn capital quickly) will get out with part of the gain intact if momentum is lost. Eg WB. Theres likely a subset of traders beneath that who are active over shorter time horizons such as intraday due to the reasonablly low volume, higher volatility, announcement poised environment.
Leaves us with 'Interested parties'. Its presumptive of me bcs I have no evidence. The rationale for the thought is as someone who allocates a reasonable quantum of funds on this basis myself, due to a reasonable possibility of a incredible result, with limited insight into the sector, I make the assumption that a party or parties with far greater funds to deploy, and possibly greater insight into this sector would replicate the same, just with bigger numbers, possibly with a more advanced strategy.
The 'interested parties' may or may not yet be in the top 40 (we'll see soon enough), or they may be as has been suggested here before (so its not too far down the rabbit hole to suggest it) be 'checking' the stock price. Its fairly illiquid and predictable so I dont expect it would be an incredibly difficult thing to achieve.
By checking the price they are able to acquire an unnoticed holding and/or keep the stock at a level well below NAV. Conversely if they try to buy significant volume on market they either cant or cant get material volume at at NAV or below.
People here talk about a 1c to 5c movement like its significant. From a different perspective lets say a DCF at 15% of sales produces a valuation of 'very much' its clear that the SP is no where near where it could ultimately land. Its one thing to double your money on 10k its a very different proposition to do so on a far larger proposition. Look at the liquidity/return challenges of big fundies.
What value will BIT revalue the IP up to when they do?
Theory may need some refining but the low emotion, methodological approach of some naysayers supports the view imo.
A lot of that is outside the control of a small retail holder and it may pose other questions.
However on reflection BIT is either near Machiavellian or lucky to have discussed timings and exit strategies they have.
Why you dont hold a minimum parcel or parcel that meets your minimum holding postion here astounds me Footmax and everytime we have a persistent, theoretically financially agnostic naysayer on here, my resolve in this point becomes stronger.
Reminds me of a a guy back in the middle of last decade who said something like just buy $100 of bitcoin, when bitcoin was maybe $1000. Stories not that different here. The fact that concept is lost on your garden variry naysayers is interesting too.

Lux - Is trump still a supporter of a solution?, maybe Trump will get results moving, before he gets run out at least half the US.
Might be a more workable solution and enough to win favour more broadly than the bleach line. Then we'll have to ask ourselves which came first the trump or the cure for most viral afflictions ?
