I really struggle from a trading / analytical perspective to understand the logic of some of the vitriol and how its directed here.
Ancillary, knitting etc aside, did the independent CRO not say the 11/12 met objectives? Essentially the concerns here (beyond tech) are Comms, and CF. CF has a timing component.
Comms will have improve at AGM for CR/CF to be achieved if tech response is not received prior.
I personally think Comms are sub-par and agree it can play adversely into SP. Ive said so all year.
However, commentary re knitting etc veils the dialogue with an element of humour but really only plays into the marginal deterioration of the SP, exacerbating the CR/CF, Comms issue. Obviously this leads to a discussion re the motivation and calibre of people on this forum who engage in the same at length, ie both holders and non holders.
Anecdotally, I received a unexpected call back from a large logistics client we'd been chasing all year, we had them as if you like a 'closed lost', based on their prevailing strategy. On the call we received the work originally proposed and then they indicated they're running an acquisition and want us on that as well.
We saw Becker on a call stating not just that there's interest, but that there's broad interest and if I recall correctly from specific names. Do you know MM is not waiting on a similar one ? If so how do you know? have I missed something?
Is this guaranteed imo - no its not. But - See my comments re cynicism and scepticism above.
Accepting you probably only have a base case - What of beyond ýour "end game" ??? - Have you applied any of your Nostradamic (apologies in need) thought to that?
I agree it is however looking quite contrarian right now.. bit like TSLA mid year with the BYD narrative. (yes TSLA has more cash and likely better BP connections ! - I get it. Its also only gone up 100 odd %)
Really all comes down to appetite, positioning, and seeing through the fog of flying knitting references doesn't it? As slick said the other day - there's 2 buttons on the screen, and frankly a lot of other stocks to shout about.
Finally, stocks are as you like to suggest like horse races are they not? Not everyone one can win every race, every time. Otherwise we'd have every market infinitely fragmented right? I understood the generally accepted solution to be diversification and strategy - maybe thats just me.
