I'm agree that AH are looking for a settlement.
MMX's stance in the anns so far suggests to me they are very resistant to do that and want to fight this out. This may of course change if things get tight with MIS +/- sinosteel - though I doubt they will be offering any large amount to CHM.
Agree re: the market meltdown.
Note also if this happens it will most likely be due to economic carnage in india/china, which will drop ore prices and possibly make Jack Hills uneconomical - and certainly greatly drop the value. In which case CHM's claim would be near worthless.
